Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is set to launch on October 25 in two RAM variants – 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM. Xiaomi on Friday confirmed it will be launching the Mi Note 2 flagship smartphone at a Beijing event on Tuesday. The company has now confirmed one of the biggest expectations – it will sport a curved or dual edge display.
Xiaomi said the Mi Note has been “curved to impress”. The company has very specifically added that the smartphone will feature “two-sided dual curves”.
Many reports are leaked about Xiaomi Note 2 and its specifications. Other leaked specifications include a 5.7-inch Super Amoled (1440×2560 pixels) display with pressure sensitive technology – similar to the Xiaomi Mi 5s. It is said to be powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 821 SoC, while the dual rear camera sensor is said to bear a 23-megapixel Sony IMX318 sensor and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX378 sensor. On the front is said to be an 8-megapixel sensor.
The price also revealed about Note 2. The price of 4GB of RAM/ 64GB of inbuilt storage at CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 27,800), and 6GB of RAM/ 128GB of storage at CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 29,800).
