Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are the two smartphone introduced by Google and best competitor for Samsung Galaxy S8 series, Galaxy Note 8, Apple’s iPhone X and 8 series, and LG’s V30. Both the smartphones are share many core features and and specifications, just like their predecessors and more. Both phones are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC and have 4GB of RAM with either 64GB or 128GB of storage, and also run on Android 8 Oreo. These smartphones comes with feature called Active Edge, similarly to the ‘squeeze’ gesture on the HTC U11.

Google Pixel 2:

Google Pixel 2 has 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels, and it is powered by 1.9GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with 4GB RAM. The new Google smartphone comes with 32GB internal memory but not expandable. Google Pixel 2 has a 12.2-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies, and runs on Android 8.0.0 and is powered by a 2700mAh non removable battery. This is a single sim smartphone and measures 145.70 x 69.70 x 7.80 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 143.00 grams.

Price: Price of Google Pixel 2 is  Rs. 61,000 in India.

Google Pixel 2 XL has a 6.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2880 pixels at a PPI of 538 pixels per inch, and it is powered by 1.9GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with 4GB RAM. It comes with 64GB of internal storage but not expandable. Google Pixel 2 XL 12.2-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies, and  runs Android 8.0.0 and is powered by a 3520mAh non removable battery. This is a single SIM smartphone and measures 157.90 x 76.70 x 7.90 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 175.00 grams.

Price: Price of Google Pixel 2 XL is  Rs. 73,000 in India.

Both the smartphones shares same connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and Barometer.
