A big news appear for Ringing Bells customers, company finally is going start to deliver Freedom 251, which is world’s cheapest smartphone, from June 28 and it is confirmed. The Director of the company Mohit Goel said, deliveries will start to customers who have registered fro buying Freedom 251.
He told to media, “We will start shipment of Freedom 251 from June 28 to customers who paid for it earlier on COD (cash-on-delivery) basis.”
Ringing Bells started to sell this outstanding smartphone, Freedom 251, from their official website (www.freedom251.com). This smartphone is world’s cheapest smartphone ever introduced by Ringing Bells, which is a Noida based company.
Official website of the company was gone crashed during two-day sale due to huge response from prospective buyers and company also claimed that around 30,000 customers had booked the phone despite the glitch.
According to our sources, Ringing Bells president Ashok Chaddha had explained earlier that the manufacturing cost of the phone was about Rs 2,500, which had to be recovered through a series of measures like economies of scale, innovative marketing, reduction in duties and creating an e-commerce marketplace.
Freedom 251 Features: Freedom 251 was launched in February 2016 with a 4.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 540 pixels by 960 pixels and powered by 1.3GHz quad-core along with 1GB of RAM. Ringing Bells’s this smartphone has 8GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. It has 3.2-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 0.3-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The single SIM (GSM) smartphone runs on Android 5.1 and powered by a 1450mAh removable battery.
